Itinerary

Day 1 – Flight to Chania – City Tour

Flight to Chania. Visit the Monastery of Agia Triada and the Venizelos Tombs with panoramic views. Continue to the village of Therisso, a place of historical importance. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy a walking tour of Chania’s old town, the market, and the Venetian harbor. Free time for dinner and exploration.

Day 2 – Lake Kournas – Rethymno – Arkadi – Heraklion

Visit Lake Kournas, the only natural lake of Crete. Continue to Rethymno and explore its Venetian old town and fortress. Visit the historic Arkadi Monastery, a symbol of Cretan resistance. Stop at the village of Fodele before arriving in Heraklion. Hotel check-in.

Day 3 – Heraklion – Matala – Agia Galini

City tour of Heraklion including landmarks such as St. Titus Church and the Venetian walls. Continue to Matala, famous for its caves and hippie history. Free time for swimming. Next stop: Agia Galini, a charming seaside village. Return to Heraklion.

Day 4 – Elounda – Spinalonga – Agios Nikolaos

Visit Elounda and the village of Plaka. Optional boat trip to Spinalonga, a historic island-fortress. Continue to Agios Nikolaos, known for its picturesque lake. Free time before returning to Heraklion.

Day 5 – Knossos – Return Flight

Visit the legendary Knossos, center of the Minoan civilization and home of King Minos. Learn about the myths of the Labyrinth and Daedalus. Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
