Celebrate Carnival with an unforgettable 6-day journey through four iconic cities: Budapest, Vienna, Belgrade and Niš. This itinerary combines elegant architecture, guided sightseeing, and well-paced free time, with carefully selected 4★ hotels and professional organization throughout the trip.

Expect a smooth, comfortable experience with a Greek-speaking guide and an experienced tour leader/escort, plus optional activities such as a Danube River cruise, guided visits inside key landmarks in Budapest, and a memorable traditional dinner with live Gypsy violin music.

Day 1 – Departure & Niš

Our journey begins with departure towards Serbia, including intermediate stops along the way and identity control at the Evzones border crossing. Continuing north, we arrive in the historic city of Niš, one of the oldest cities in the Balkans. After hotel check-in, the rest of the day is free for rest or a short walk before our overnight stay in Niš.

Day 2 – Niš to Budapest

After breakfast, we depart for Budapest, making short stops for coffee and meals along the route. Arrival in the Hungarian capital, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Danube,” followed by check-in at our centrally located hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure for an evening walk or exploration of the city, with the option to join an optional Danube River cruise accompanied by our guide. Overnight stay in Budapest.

Day 3 – Budapest City Tour

Following breakfast, we begin our guided city tour of Budapest, visiting Heroes’ Square and St. Stephen’s Basilica, with an optional guided interior visit. Crossing to the Buda side, we explore Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church, enjoying panoramic views over the city. Optional guided visits to the Hungarian Parliament and the Budapest Opera House are available, including a short concert experience. Later, enjoy free time along Váci Street, Budapest’s most famous pedestrian avenue, before returning to the hotel for overnight stay. In the evening, an optional traditional dinner with live Gypsy violin music is offered.

Day 4 – Budapest to Vienna

After breakfast, we depart for Vienna, the elegant capital of Austria. Upon arrival, we visit the Schönbrunn Palace gardens, followed by a panoramic city tour featuring the Vienna State Opera, Hofburg Palace complex, the Austrian Parliament, City Hall, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, and the Museum of Fine Arts. Free time is provided for shopping or an optional meal before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 5 – Budapest to Belgrade to Niš

After breakfast, we travel to Belgrade, where our city tour includes the impressive Temple of Saint Sava, the Serbian Parliament, the Old Royal Palace, Republic Square, and a walk along Knez Mihailova Street, considered one of the most beautiful pedestrian streets in Europe. Following free time in the city, we continue our journey to Niš for our final overnight stay.

Day 6 – Return Journey

After breakfast, we begin our return journey, completing border formalities and making intermediate stops for coffee and meals along the way, arriving back with wonderful Carnival memories from four unique European destinations.
