This tour is suitable for anyone who is interested in history and they would love to learn more information for the island of Santorini.
With a time and a starting point of your own choice, our first stop is the Archaeological site of Akrotiri.
According to specific information, the region was first inhabited around the end of the Neolithic age.
In this big area (200m2), one can admire the complex drainage system, the multi-storey buildings with the special murals, along with some essential information regarding the settlement.
We suggest that you employ an archaeologist in order to explain to you in full detail everything included in the settlement, as well as to cover some of your questions. The charge is €100 per hour.
Next stop is the museum of Pre-historic Thira at Fira which hosts findings from the settlement of Akrotiri, such as valuable items, ceramic vessels, pots.
Our last and very interesting stop is the first interactive museum of the lost Altantis.
We will have the chance to learn more about Atlantis through the use of the newest interactive technologies ,including 9D virtual reality, 3D holograms and dioramas to experience everything from the island’s volcanic eruption and earthquake to the tsunami and the life of Plato.
